A daybook that fills itself, and reports you can trace to the source
Small businesses either keep no daybook or re-enter everything at month end. In Hisabche every sale, purchase and payment writes its own double-entry journal record the moment it happens, and the reports come from those records.
Automatic journal entries
A sales invoice records revenue and what the customer owes; a payment records cash or bank; a purchase records stock and what you owe the supplier. Moving money between the till and the bank is one balanced entry. Manual entries are available for anything else.
Trial balance, profit and loss, balance sheet
All three are built from the same entries, and every figure drills down to the ledger lines and the invoices behind it.
Daily cash till and cash flow
Open the till with a float, see cash sales, cash in and out and bank transfers, and close with a count that shows any difference. A 7, 30 and 90-day cash flow chart is included.
Budgets with commitments
Set expense or revenue budgets per account; actual spend and open commitments are shown against them, with a warning or a block when a limit is crossed.
Common questions
- Do I have to enter journal entries by hand?
- Not for sales, purchases or payments — they post automatically. Manual entries are for special cases.
- What about invoices created before accounting was set up?
- One button posts all unposted invoices; an invoice that already has an entry is never posted twice.
- Which currencies are supported?
- Afghan afghani, US dollar, Pakistani rupee and Iranian rial.
