Developers and integrations

API keys, webhooks, selling from your own site, apps and a sandbox.

API keys

Each key is limited to this business and to the access you choose, and never exceeds its creator's own access. Keys belong to the business: all its managers see the same list.

A key is shown once. You can give it an expiry, revoke it at any time and see its use over the last seven days.

Webhooks

When something happens — an invoice, a payment, a product reaching its reorder level — Hisabche sends a signed request to your https address.

Reject a message whose signature is wrong or that is more than five minutes old. Failed deliveries are listed and can be sent again; an address that keeps failing is switched off automatically.

Selling from your own website

With a public key, your website reads products and stock from Hisabche and places orders. Prices and totals are always set by Hisabche, never by the site.

A public key works only on the addresses you allow, and can only read the catalogue and place pending orders. Orders are confirmed by hand or automatically, as you choose.

Apps and the app marketplace

An app you build for other businesses connects to a business's data only with its owner's consent, and only with the access the owner approved.

Every new version is reviewed before it is published. A business owner can remove an app at any time.

Sandbox

Create a separate, empty business to test integrations: its invoices, stock and books are fully apart from your real accounts.
